Using a Single A133 Mic on a Drum Kit
Audix Creator, drummer and professor Brandon Draper shows how to use a single A133 large-diaphragm studio condenser microphone on a live drum set, to get various tones by simply changing the positioning of the mic.
The drummer is Nick Velicer, a drum student in the KU Jazz 1 ensemble program. KU Jazz 1 has won multiple downbeat awards in Best College and Best Graduate College Big Band categories.
